It’s true that some parents end up having more fun decorating their kids’ bedroom than their own. There’s much more you can do with a kid’s bedroom in terms of color, design and style. Plus, it brings out the child in you.
This loft fort bed idea comes from the parents of a 7-year-old kid named Gray. His dad wanted to build him a fort bed, and his mom, the blog author of Perfectly Imperfect documented the whole makeover project.
The couple used a queen mattress for the loft bed, and stained the structure with weathered gray color. They added some decors like the antlers that you’ll see at the entry point of the loft bed. It took them only $250 to finish the project. As you can imagine, Gray loved it.
